| - Mostly used in Oolong Tea and Black Tea, especially Ti Kuan
Yin.
1. Preparation - Preparing the tea, water, cup,
pot, ware and filter.
- If you have a tea trey that would be good for Kong Fu tea, especially
for Ti Kuan Yin and Black Tea
- Suggest using 7g or 10g of tea per time.
- There is special requirement on the tea quality, the first choice
is iced water, spring fountain, well water, dew water and table-water.
The second choice is distilled water and drinking water.
- Suggest using top grade clay or ceramic cup, pot and ware. YiXing
clay and Dehua ceramic is the most famous ones in China.
2. Cleaning - Pour hot water into the tea cup,
pot or ware. Make sure it is clean, this is helpful to stimulate
the fragrance from tea at early time.
3. First Infusing & Double Cleaning - Put
the tea into the cup. Infuse the hot water at the higher position
into the pot, and put the filter on the ware in order to sure the
tea soup is clean and avoid any shatter. The first infusing should
be quickly (Within 7 seconds) poured out and clean the cups and
ware again.
- Oolong Tea and Black Tea require the water temperature around
100¡æ, especially Ti Kuan Yin need a high temperature to stimulate
the temperature.
- Green Tea, White Tea, Yellow Tea, and Jasmine tea require the
temperature around 70-80¡æ.
4. Infusion & Taste - Infuse the hot water
into the tea, wait 20-30 seconds, pour the tea into the ware. Then
pour out the tea soup from tea ware to tea cup for friends and yourself.
- Firstly you smell the incredible fragrance from the cup of tea.
Then eat them slowly to make sure the tea in your mouth for few
seconds. Then the fragrance and favor will remain fully from the
mouth to the throat.
5. Tasting - Repeat the step 4. Generally the
infusing can last 9 times for Oolong Tea and Black Tea.
- At the first 3 infusions you can feel the incredible fragrance;
the second 3 infusions you will feel the fantastic favor come from
Ti Kuan Yin and the sweet tastes; the last 3 infusions will bring
the lingering fragrance mixed mellow tastes.
6. Storage - After finish eating the tea, make
the tea at good storage condition. It should be at low temperature
and avoid strong light and high humidity. You are suggested to put
the tea in refrigeratory, but sure not mixed up with other strong
smell products.
